Right to Work

Culturepot advises on best practice, both helping organisations understand their obligations under UK immigration law and providing protection against the risk and consequences of accidentally employing workers illegally. Services range from on-site process and file audits to 24/7 advice by phone or email, and tailored training sessions for HR staff or operational managers.

Typically, training sessions cover how and when to conduct Home Office compliant right to work checks, sponsor obligations, different types of visas and associated work restrictions and detecting fraudulent documents.

EUSS (EU Settlement Scheme)

With the free movement of EU workers due to end on 31st December 2020 employers need to plan ahead to ensure that their valuable EU team takes steps now to secure their right to remain or return to work in the UK after 30th June 2021. Employers need to undersrtand the new RTW checks for EU nationals after free movement ends and what alternatives there are available to fill skills shortages.
